Toughing out the mapserver kick was worth it! I admit to hoping for an honorable, but topping out with the Mechanic (who I've grown to really like playing and RPing with) was a complete blowaway.

Thank you for participating...unfortunately the competition was pretty thick and we couldn't award everyone. Although with such great participation we do increase the number of honorable mentions that we hand out.

Better luck next time!

I did misread that...I am glad you won! But my previous point still applies to everyone else.

Just a reminder that Tuesday's Theme is Tri-Color. All contestants must use three colors in their costume to be considered.

And tonight the SG Empire of Atlantis is hosting a large CC in Atlas Park--be sure to head out there and help Empire celebrate their first anniversary. I plan to attend in some form myself.

I was sure I read Atlas Park earlier but it was in Galaxy. Hope everyone had a good time. I did not participate but did drop by.

Our next CC is this Thursday at Ten PM Eastern. As always Thursday is a general CC with no theme or specific category.

Our next themed CC is next Tuesday August 17 at Ten PM Eastern. The theme for this contest is "Going Rogue." Hail Cole? Power to the people? Show off your loyalist or resistance costumes and give us a preview of your Praetorian allegiance!

As I'm sure there will be some questions on the theme for next week, I'd like to post some clarifications as it is a bit vague:

The concept of the contest is "Going Rogue"; while you may enter any costume that you feel has significance to the theme, a few suggestions might be...

- A costume that shows a concept of the Loyalist or Resistance factions/ideals.
- A costume that shows off the concept of: Hero, Villain, Rogue, Vigilante

Keep in mind however that these are only suggestions, and picking a suggestion will not increase/alter your chances of winning so long as your costume fits the over-all theme in some way.

A little bit of a change to our weekly costume contests. Next Tuesday is the launch day for Going Rogue...that being the case we will be hosting our Costume Contest in Pocket D instead of Atlas Park. You may enter the contest with any character regardless of alignment.

In the event of multiple instances of Pocket D; we will spread out to the other instances and judge contestants from each instance. In this event; we will limit the winners to one overall winner of each instance and two honorable mentions. If there is only one instance; we will select one overall winner and honorable mentions will be decided based upon turnout and merit of the costumes in competition.

Remember this CC is Going Rogue theme night...and there are suggestions posted above about what that means. Look forward to seeing you all there.

The theme for next Tuesday August 24 is Rock Star. Dress up as your favorite Musical personality. This CC will also be held in Pocket D; not Atlas Park.
