Claws/SR build help
Here's a build I put together (fairly quickly) with emphasis on movement (run and jump) speeds. It's a few tenths shy of 45% for the defense caps but I think it's plenty close enough for any build not expecting to solo AV's, pylons, +4/x8 spawns, etc., sans inspires. The lack of Follow Up and a Kismet would bother me more even then, heck it bothers the Mids builder in me as is.

Here's my current build I'm using. He fits what you're looking for with a natural concept, no travel power, no purples and soft capped defenses. I did frankenslot my attacks for a higher recharge rat in them as opposed to set bonuses, currently thinking of changing my attacks to 3 from ToD and CI sets for +HP bonuses.

One thing I would definitely NOT do is slot Follow Up with Guassians. Follow Up requires you to hit the target to gain its buff, Guassian's itself has NO accuracy in the set. It also has no damage enhancement. The combination of no accuracy in the power and minimal global accuracy means your final chance to hit is 65% vs +2 foes assuming you aren't debuffed (it isn't even reaching 95% against even cons). Fortunately you have enough defense to not need the +def set bonuses of Guassian's. I'd strongly recommend slotting Follow Up with pretty much any melee set over Guassians.
I have been fiddling with mids for over two weeks now trying to make this build happen but I'm just feeling completely retarded. What I'm looking to try to build is a Claws/SR who has capped def, but also no travel power and can still run very fast, and hop. As long as purples don't enter play inf isn't an issue for me. The concept is an all natural char and I feel travel powers are too glowy and betray the natural concept. (Yes, even super jump) so any help regarding this would be fantastic.
