Also, in the first couple posts of the "Common Issues - Solutions Inside" thread are links to a couple of programs - HijackThis & CoH Helper - you will probably be asked for the readouts from those.
CoH Helper is (as I recall) basically a script that runs the DX Diag and trims out the "trasH"

This sounds like a fairly serious issue on your end. And without additional technical information about your computer, would be impossible to diagnose within a reasonable timeframe.
Step 1, head on down to the Technical Issues & Bugs forum.
Step 2, read through the Common Solution & Posting Guide sticky.
Step 3, If none of the common solutions solve your problem, read the "How to post" section paying extra attention to the parts about CoH Helper and HijackThis. These two programs will generate a LOT of text that you need to paste into your new post in the tech boards. This should give our tech savvy players sufficient information to diagnose your problem and provide a solution.

Ok, its pretty much been 2 months now. If I try and start the game client it goes through the patch, then I press [next>] then [Agree] to the EULA, then I get a windows error. CityOfheroes.exe has encountered a problem, blah blah blah, do you want to tell microsoft about it.
Thats pretty much it. I say either send info to Microsoft or not, then I am back at my desktop.
If anyone has any advice i would love to hear it.
