Hey all, was thinking of dusting off my controller that I haven't played in forever. I haven't touched him since pre-ED so I'm more or less starting from scratch with knowledge on the AT . I'm trying to maximize recharge without going into purples or PvP sets, so I'd appreciate any help and advice mainly focused on slotting (ignore the slot placement levels, I'll tweak them when I settle on a final build). General build critique is welcome too, if it looks like I may be going the wrong way with him. Thanks!

Here's a secondary build I came up with for Ice Mastery. I like the idea of having ice storm + an "oh ****" button I can press while my 4 AoE's and singy eat up a spawn, feedback on this one is welcome too!

I don't have access to Mids at the moment, but I would slot a few powers differently.

Crush: This is a power mainly used for damage over time. I slot it as a damage power, and use it to make sure I get Containment before Propel. My usual single target attack chain is Grav.Dist.-Crush-Propel. If GD misses, I still get containment from Crush. If GD hits, I get double damage from Crush.

Freezing Rain is NOT a damage power. The damage it does is actually small fractions of hit points, that the game rounds to "-1" for what you see, but it does very little damage. It is most important as a Debuff/Control power. I believe you will get more damage from slotting procs in it than slotting damage.
