With a Bane/Huntsman hybrid you get... let's see
Web Envelope, Venom Grenade, Build Up, Mace Beam Blast, Mace Beam Volley, Frag Grenade, Heavy Burst, and the Patron AoE of your choice. Sure, it has a bit of redraw, but it's not that bad actually, and you can just keep going and going with a string of neverending AoE attacks (as long as your end bar lets you)

Yes, the Crab Spider does good AoE damage. The only problem is that you can't scratch that itch in the armor

i was thinking about dealing aoedamage without clicking for things like blizzard, summon pseudopets or being in middle of the mob and the end of all is the crabspider with 4 targeted AoE powers (Venom Grenade, Frag Granade, Ball of Lightning, Electrifying Fences) and one cone (Heavy Burst)
i found out it will not be squishy too
