Well, I can't speak for other primaries, as I am currently in love with my Dark/DP, however I can say that Darkest Night does not cause me to put my pistols away. Unfortunitely my Fearsom Stare (love that power) does.
Now I have to believe this is working as intended as I remember a Thugs/Dark MM I had quite some time ago who also wouldn't put the pistols away when Darkest Night was used. And by some time ago I mean around a year or so. Well before any of the new animations for DP were added, in fact it was before DP was even considered a viable option for a blast set.
So I say, working as intended, and if not...let's not rock the boat as they say. I like that it doesn't cause redraw (even though I don't mind the DP redraw animations).
Maybe it's like that for all toggles? Can any rad/dp try it out? I'm pretty certain my rad/arch puts his bow away to use his love spells, though.
It happened on my DP/Sotrm corruptor as well. I suspect it's a bug so I filed a bug report but it could be WAI I suppose.
This a bug or WAI? Noticed a few minutes ago that my little stormy/pistol defender, when I trigger snow storm with the guns drawn, doesn't holster them the way she does with pretty much every other storm power I tested (freezing rain, gale). Not sure if this is a bug, or if it's supposed to be like that. If it's a bug, can we spread it to every other power that normally forces redraw with dual pistols for all 3 ATs that use it?
