I'm not sure how to help. I don't have any suggestions other than 'get a real video card', sadly.

Hmm think its worth it to get it for this laptop?
Woof, I completely missed the 'mobile' part. Sadly, most laptops are completely incapable of incorporating a video card if they didn't come with one.

I've been having this same bug off and on since I17 went Live and I've posted about it twice now (apparently I forgot that I had already posted about it, oops ). No mobile card here, I'm running a Radeon HD5570. I've had this happen upon loading a character for the first time in a session, or switching characters. Once this happens, restarting the client is the only thing that will fix it (although sometimes you'll hit the problem again once you relog, in which case you need to restart the client AGAIN).
Of all the problems I have with I17, this is one of the most obnoxious. The transparent UI (which incidentally seems to be a separate issue from the vanishing HP/end/XP bars) makes the game very difficult to play since I'm not used to seeing the game that way.
"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...
Funny thing is a year ago this game ran fine and dandy with no issues whatsoever. I come back around when i17 is out and everything has issues and bugs. Its so frustrating.
Well with I17, UM and the upcoming GR, the game has gotten a bit of a facelift and a fair amount of the graphics code has been updated along with it. Intel graphics have never been terribly good and haven't gotten better with age. The Devs have made efforts to make the game work on Intel hardware but I guess there are limits to what they can do to make the new code run on such old hardware. You can try contacting Support or (I believe) The Television and see what they can do and suggest.
It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.
All of those Unknown entries in the CoH Helper report bother me greatly.
Did you right-click on CoH Helper and select Run as Administrator? If not, please run it that way and post a fresh copy of the output.
If you did run it that way, please run HiJackThis and paste the log of the results.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
Well I'm no longer having crashes after updating my video card but still have a very annoying issue. My XP, Health, and Endurance bars are not visible. All icons in the map are not visible. The borders on any window are almost transparent or not visible. Same thing with the costume window and the scroll down bar and buttons are not visible on any window whatsoever. I checked my graphics, ran in safe mode, played with the window opacity option and nothing still. Is anyone else having this issue or has fixed this issue and care to help?
