Telekinetic Thrust confusion
Telekinetic Thrust does about 2/3 as much damage as Flares and has double the activation time, plus it's a melee range power and can't be used while mezzed like Flares can... all in all it's nowhere near as good as Flares as an attack. Essentially it's a copy of Power Thrust from Energy Blast except the energy part of the damage is swapped to psionic and it has double the activation time.
It might be worth taking as a "get out of my face" power but that's about it.
Cascade, level 50 Blaster (NRG/NRG since before it was cool)
Mechmeister, level 50 Bots / Traps MM
FAR too many non-50 alts to name

A way to get this info in game is to type the power's name in Brackets[Telekinetic Thrust] into chat. You can then click on the name and it will pop up info on the power.
The plastic tips at the end of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister.

Excellent advice. Also, don't forget to click on the "Detailed Info" tab for actual numbers on the power
I suggest finding a way to compromise between Flares and TK Thrust by taking them both. Flares is essential for being able to be used while slept, stunned, or held. TK Thrust is just too cool looking to skip.
Plus, if you can wrangle the slotting, you can work a complete 6 piece Kinetic Crash set into it. This really makes your victim go flying, and as a side benefit, you get 3 points of KB protection, a decent little global recharge bonus, and a couple other okay set bonuses.
Playing around with a Fire/Mental here.
I'm looking for some accurate numbers on Telekeinetic Thrust - range, damage, casting time etc. - as the power currently exists. I've been a touch confused about what I've seen being used by others and I'm trying to decide if it is a legitimate replacement to Flares as my third single-target attack.
Thanks in advance.
