I've been playing around with this build for awhile to get the best out of it. I think I finally have it right but I want to get some other opinions. Be honest, be brutal if you have to.

edit: I use ninja run and raptor pack for my travel powers. I'm thinking of dropping BotZ in tp foe (kb prot)

Is this for PvE? I'm a little baffled by some of your power picks if it is.

Mainly yes, but I also made it so that it could be used for support in PvP. Even in PvE I'm usually on a team so I think of this toon more for support in any case.

It might help to understand what you're aiming for with this build. I've never taken dark blast and NOT picked up Tenebrous Tentacles and Night Fall. Those two, combined, will give ~15 -tohit to everything hit on top of the damage they'll do (un-enhanced). Looking at your build you're pretty far from the softcap, which for a /kin I'd highly recommend since to heal yourself you have to get close to the action.

My dark\kin focuses on locking down entire spawns with TT\dark pit\NF while firing fulcrum shift to boost dark's damage (and fulcrum shift really makes a huge different in dark's damage). If you're going to go dark (and support), I'd highly recommend picking up TT\NF. Yes dark pit's base accuracy blows...but fully slotted it's actually quite nice and can really keep a spawns damage output low (and keep them rooted with TT so they don't wander everywhere).

Seems kind of a big waste to pick dark blast and only pick gloom and dark blast from the entire set.

Well for starters, when I had more dark powers there were just too many clickies. Keep in mind that Sands of Mu and Nemesis Staff are also clickies. The way this build is set up there are 10 clickies which is my entire bottom tray. Secondly, I decided that the kin powers were much more important than dark. I wanted to pick up the pool powers that I took so that I would be more useful in supporting the team. Really the only place I have room in this build as far as I can see is by taking fewer epics to take those dark powers. I definitely want Scorpion Shield and Focused Accuracy. I would be willing to let the others go in place of 2 of them but that would leave me with 11 clickies and those dark powers would only be able to be 4 slotted. My build was similar to this for the last few months (same powers but I moved some bad slotting). I've been very successful at all kinds of SFs with this build which is what I primarily do with this guy nowadays. I don't usually have too much trouble with things running away because I'm almost always standing next to a brute who is spamming his taunts and other powers which taunt. I have no intention of soloing this toon ever. My goal is to help the team and to speed through mobs with them. So far, I've been able to do so very well with a similar build. After thinking about what you said though, it might be an improvement to replace Summon Disruptor with TT especially in PvP to hold more things down. I guess I'll go back to the drawing board...again.

My dark\kin has been re-born many...many times. It can be quite a flexible build. If what you're doing works for you that's great...I just don't approach dark\kin the same way.

What exactly do you plan to do Ghoul? Mainly SFs and mission teaming, with a hint of PvP? Or the other way round? I'm happy to help you with a build once I know exactly what you want to do with it.
