I have searched, and not found anything, and am quite amazed no one has said anything yet.

In the new positron TF part 1

When the team get to atlas, and have to fight their way into city hall.
Why is there a mob just inside the door that will aggro as soon as you click the outside door leaving your characters on red health as soon as you can control them again?
I have tried the first part on a couple of characters and the only one that got away with it was my Ill/rad with sup invis.

Quite a few issues ago mobs were deliberately moved away from inside door camping so a team would have a fair chance. Now, if you haven't got an illusion controller on the team it is going to be really hard.

Quite frankly I am amazed that this wasn't picked up on earlier and no one has said anything, or have the teams been really unlucky?

1st try on my blaster a full team of 8 was nasty
2nd try on a team of 4 me on my ill/rad - I could get in but the team couldn't safely til I had cleared the mob using confuse and PA.

I am hoping it was just bad luck. But beware when you do this tf now.

When I soloed the TF I was surprised by this as well but once I knew it was there I popped 3 purple inspirations before going in and cleaned up both spawns in the first room. With a large team have someone, perferably a tank type, go in first after buffing to grab the mob attention and then come in with the squisher types.

Now that you know it's there you can plan ahead. Knowing is half the battle. Go Joe.

The first time you click on the door an ambush is spawned that you have to clear before you can enter the door for real. It's a nasty one too. Both times my group has tried it we team wiped. The ambush appears to come out of the building but I don't think they are standing just inside and aggro out, I think it is a standard spawned ambush. If you can somehow enter the door at that point I think that's a bug.

Once that is clear everyone should enter simultaneously. The spawns inside the building are in the central circle in the middle of the room and another to the left where the day jobs person usually is. If the team stays with their back to the door I think it is possible not to aggro anything until you are ready but large groups or the invariable couple that end up in a pushing contest will draw the central group in pretty quick. Luckily it isn't a real transition and it's no worse than getting attacked on the other side of an elevator ride.

TLDR - I think it is working as intended (although I think the inital outside ambush could be toned down just a little).
