Hello, I am running a Frankenstein box that i keep upgrading as things get old and/or break. I have had my current MB for about 3 years now (biostar with a n-force 4 chipset). Every time i would lose power or have a power surge it would mess up the playability of CoH upon rebooting. The game will play and function normally but be in slow motion. When i type the showfps command it gives me a normal reading. This problem would normally go away when i would re-seat the video card(i have used 3 video cards with this MB and it has happened with each) but for some reason my problem is not being resolved. With further diagnostics i figured out that when the box is plugged straight into the wall outlet, it functions fine. No slowdown what so ever but the moment i plugged it back into the surge(or any other surge) it does the same slow motion thing. There are also times when i press the power buttons and nothing happens, there are also times where it will turn on but give me no video and most of the time it just works. Im thinking it might be an inconsistency with the PSU but i would love a second opinion from people with more experience. Thanks!
Would also like to add that any other program, game or device functions fine all the time.
