CoH Problems

I have been having problems since I17 has come out and I tried to just grit and bear it while I could, but I just am getting a lot less fun out of the game, now while running missions and such, even solo. The game will rubber band, or have an input delay of 2-5 seconds on powers or interacting with objects. It is playable, but takes twice as long to finish missions and objectives due to these problems. I am going to see if anyone here can see a problem with my connection or system.

I will post my CoHHelper down, further. I know my graphics driver is out of date by, almost, a year, but I checked on the ATI site and there doesn't seem to be a newer driver for my graphics card. if I overlooked something, someone can post a direct link and it would be a great help.

Well there are 10.2 drivers available for your card: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownloa...-Bit%20Edition I think they are newer than what you have.

You might also look for the ATI Hotkey Poller service and disable it. It has been reported to cause input delay issues for some folks.

It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.

I thought the 10.2 had issues with CoX why I didn't update to 10.2. And I already disabled the ATI Hotkey Poller after seeing people had trouble with it in Open Beta.

I don't think the x1xxx series has 10.4 available to it, or it didn't list it when I checked the drivers earlier.

The OP's video card falls under the Legacy Driver system. The most current driver for those video cards is the 10.2 driver that Back_Blast linked to.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

The Legacy Driver 10.2 may not have the same isses as the current model 10.2, but I don't have a card old enough to test that on. The most current Legacy Driver before the 10.2 was the 9.11 driver released in November of 2009.

I'll try the newer driver, then. I'll inform you how things go, after I install and test it.

Same thing, but this is weird. In teams I get LESS rubberbanding/lag than solo... Maybe it's the time of day, or maybe my computer was just being a punk at the time?

Sounds like more testing is in order. But it's quite possible some server lag was at fault depending on the circumstances at the time.
