Can't run UM w/ Win7 (64)...

I can not get UM to run on Win7 (64) but it runs just fine on XP?

When I try to change to UM, the FPS drop to .4 (yes, not even a full frame) and the screen goes black. It's practically impossible to move the sliders to any notch, to any functional setting and when I do, the screen is still black and can't see anything thus having to restart the game, which then reverts back to the previous settings. I can click 'Restore to Default' however that brings me back to square one.

Sys Specs:
Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield 2.66GHz
EVGA LGA 1366 Intel X58 SLI LE Intel Motherboard
Crucial 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500)
EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 896MB

All drivers are up to date, I have yet to try to roll back to a previous video driver.

I'm rather annoyed and while I haven't played the game in a few months... At this rate, I'm not looking forward to playing GR if I can't have my cake and eat it too! ;P

post a log from running CoH Helper as it will give information about your system and the CoH installation and settings.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

guess its kinda working, just not to my satisfaction.

Oh well. I'll deal with it for now.

Are you running the EVGA Precision tool?

If so, that is the problem. I had the exact same issue with my 480GTX and closing the tool fixes the problem.

I guess, ideally, turn off the precision tool, adjust your settings in game then you can turn it back on. It seems to only affect the game while you're changing settings.

Yes, I'm running EVGA Precision. Funny how something as simple as that screws up everything. Though, I didn't have that issue with XP. Go figure.

Still, even with my setup, it's like I'm running the 'low end' ultra mode. I guess, I need a new vid card, again

Thanks for the help!
