The Tree of Thorns Respecification Trial is a trial in City of Villains that a villain may undertake in order to earn a power respecification. During the trial, a villain must complete a few missions, ultimately with the goal of defeating the Thorn Tree, a Circle of Thorns archvillain.

The Tree of Thorns power respecification trial is composed of three missions. These missions are:
1) Defeat 25 (first respec trial) Circle of Thorns
2) Overthrow the leaders of the Wyvern, Longbow, and Legacy Chain factions gathering for an attack (first respec trial)
3) Defeat the Thorn Tree, a Circle of Thorns archvillain.
Team One
1. MsCats on one of her age-appripriate villains (team leader)
2. Raven
3. Bunny - in one of her long-eared forms
4. Dark Turbospeed
5. zero end
6. Unknown Don
7. Ironblade (in one of his villainous forms - he hasn't signed up yet, this is an assumption)
