If you go to the tailor, go into the powers customization and click on the power, you can see the animation/effects as they will look when you use it.
With Hell on Earth, one of the effects is that your whip wraps around the demon you have targeted, and they do the squirm-while-held emote, not sure if that would show up there. But everything else should (the Living Hellfire imps, the whip emote, etc).

If you create a Demons/ MM in MA, then it will show what the pets look like at their full upgraded state when encountered during the MA mission. Apparently the first upgrade makes the entire body have an aura except for the head and the final upgrade adds an aura to their heads. They look good with flaming eyes.
