The launcher works fine for me, servers are down for another 40 minutes as The_Coming_Storm says though.
would anyone know why my launcher isnt working then. ?
It might depend if you are using NA or EU launcher. I"m using NA. Not sure about Scot
If what you're getting is the Launcher/Updater just sitting there doing nothing, here's one thing that usually works for me:
1) open a command window (in windows: start->run->{type in} cmd {press enter})
2) {type in} ipconfig /flushdns {press enter}
3) repeat step #2 (I usually do it twice...may not actually help, but it doesn't hurt and every now and then just doing it once doesn't seem to be "enough")
4) {type in} ipconfig /registerdns {press enter}
[note: In Vista or Win 7, this will probably come back with "The requested operation requires elevation". In that case you have to run the command window as an administrator, or just don't bother with the #4 step...it will usually work without it]
This has almost always fixed any connecting issues I've had with the launcher.
