Accolades and badges are mixed, many of them were created with the idea of side switching. However, I would be surprised if they let people get all the +HP/+End accolades twice.
Infamy does not cross with you, nor does anything stored in your personal vault. All your bids and sales on the market are frozen and do not cross over. Those items you have in your inventory, however, do cross over. So IOs both slotted and held, salvage, recipes, and inspirations.

Putting in my .02 here, Plants/Energy is a good combo. In fact, that is what I have been focusing mostly on v-side on Virtue lately.
Stellar Jay just hit 48 last night, and I am intending for him to be my next 50.
One of the great things about Plants/Energy is that permadom is easy and fairly inexpensive to achieve, what with there being plenty of powers with KB that can be slotted with full Kinetic Crash sets, and other powers that take fairly cheap sets that give recharge bonuses. (almost have enough to make my Fortunata pet perma as well).
Also, Plants/Energy is just simply fun to play, with plenty of normal attacks for when you feel like playing Blaster. It may not be viable for soloing AVs or EBs for the most part, but then again, that is where your other pets come into play (aka your teammates.)
