SS/SD capped def

I'm looking for a good starting build for a SS/SD farmer. I can't really afford much, but would like the bare minimum to start farming.

Might wanna take a look in this thread. It's about fm and elec/sd scrappers, but the cheap builds listed there might give you an idea, modifying them for SS (especially since even the cheap build there uses at least one touch of death sets which are very expensive redside compared to blue). I can't think of a cheap SS/SD build right now (sleepy).

Assuming a somewhat rational market, Zephyrs should fall when the market re-opens. This build has room to grow into maximum Luck of the Gambler pieces and still remain capped. The uniques you can also hold back on.

Is this build still capped with the Zephyr nerf? In any case, it should be close enough.

Yeah it's capped. Latest MId's version has the new Zephyr numbers.

Hello, long time player here. This is my first time posting on the forums, usually I just lurk. I like the build posted but was wondering if someone could post a more expensive build. Something with good recharge/end with coming to the soft cap as close as possible. Sorry for the hijack, figured it was better to ask here then create a new topic. Thanks in advanced.

Aspera: I just put this together in 10 minutes, it's softcapped to all and has good recovery plus 72.5% recharge, regen sucks tho (but the power order is much better than the previous build imo, I believe AAO and Rage should be taken asap - if you have ninja run to make up for the lack of travel powers till late):

Thanks a bunch Kioshi, build looks really nice. I have another question if you don't mind. I already have a level 50 ss/fire and was wondering which of the two performs better when IO'd out. You know, pros and cons. I wasn't even thinking about SS/SD until the markets went down. Most of my recipes were stored on the BM I so I was outta luck and decided to try out SS/SD. I got it to level 36 and I gotta say, shield charge is pretty darn fun. I'd IO'd both of them but I only have enough for one. I figure it's better to have one really nice farmer then two mediocre ones. I should also note I plan on taking either of heroside when GR is released. Thanks again for the nice SS/SD build.
