Numina TF Update
It's a cool mission idea, but I don't think it's particularly appropriate as a replacement for that chunk of the TF.
It could work if it was a big finale, that involved you bringing the Woodsman's Spirit to Founders Falls in order to help fight off the Devouring Earth, though.

That huge chunk is they only thing that makes that TF less than steller, something needs to change in it. The Devs did an amazing job with Posi. More exciting and better direction overall. That's what I would ultimitly like to see with all the TF, and perhaps that's the plan to update as they go with each new issue.
But when you get to the "GO HUNT KILL" part, you have to know which zone to get to almost in advance just to get through it faster. Be a lot easier, and more enjoyable if it was localized in one area, still attack the same enemies, but make it more epic. I mean how often does a lvl 50 swope down in Atlas to save a lady from losing her purse? I only do it to see how far I can kick the baddie, but get no satisfaction out of it.
It's like going on a calorie free diet, you know it's good for you, but there still is no taste.
The hunts are there as a look back at the past 40 levels. Keep in mind that Numina used to be the final TF in the game, period.
I just don't see the sense in that wide variety of villain groups crossing the entire city to attack the square, much less why they'd all con even.

Most teams I run in, no to spread out for it, and event when the few times we havent, the only thing that slows it down really is Zone Events/Zone crashes.
Numina is already a fast TF. And really, I just dont have a problem with this TF. They even improved the last map already I love it!

After getting the new explore, "Guardian Angel Badge," and reading the description,
"Williams Square has always been seen as a place of safety by the people of Founders' Falls, who are constantly plagued by demons in the Circle of Thorns or the Devouring Earth. Unknown to the people, it is because each of the angelic statues overlooking it is embedded with a magical rune, warding off evil forces from the area. The presence of Numina and Infernal prevent the wards from being shattered easily - but if they were to be disposed of, it wouldn't be long until the wards were broken;" I had an idea that I hope would make the drawn out missions in Numina more interesting and fun.
After retreiving the Shard of Kalak begins the long drawn out and boring "defeat x amount of x enemies in x zones."
What if this were to happen instead:
1: Retrieve the Shard of Kalak Mission
Once the shard has been obtained, the CoT ambush the team with an AV in the final wave. As the AV slowly get's defeated he calls out to his brethren something to the affect of; "Brothers use all your dark energy and stop Numina at all costs!" Then he gets defeated.
(now for changes)
2: Save Numina!
Upon exiting mission all teammates receive a telepathic message from Sister Psyche that all members of the Freedom Phalanx are being attacked by the CoT and that she has lost her mental contact with Numina, she implores you to get to her asap!
At this point your teams waypoint is placed at a train station. Which leads to a new instance map of FF train being attacked by CoT. Once the team gets in range of Williams Square a cutscene starts showing the defeated form on Numina with Infernal standing guard near her body, there are several CoT in the square and you can see the Angel Statues are all destroyed.
After cutscene your team attacks all the CoT in the area. After they are defeated Numina awakens and advises you that all is not yet safe. She must restore the magical runes and the statues before the area is over ran by villians. She tasks you to defend her with the help of Infernal while she repairs them. This begins a massive ambush that brings in all the previous "Go Hunt" missions.
As Numina repairs the statues, the ambushes continue to get faster. All of the enemies that you now normally hunt now come to you to fight, regaurdless of what their normal level cap is. They are now set at the same level as the TF leader; (just like zombies/rikti raids, and GM's are set).
These mobs have a timer like the TV trials, but a bit faster. Once all statues are repaired, the mission is finished. Upon exiting the mission, the teammates exit through a door that leads into Williams Square to keep the continuity of the story." (Like the new Hero "sewer" mission.)
From here mission completes as normal. A badge of course is given out for completing this mission titled, "Angels Guardian."
