Hero Hamidon Raid.

Saturday, May 8th, 3 PM Pacific (4 PM Mountain, 5 PM Central, 6 PM Eastern).

kidengineer will be leading the raid/coordinating the teams.

A few points to remember:
* Warburg Bio warheads greatly help. If you can please acquire one for the raid.
* The Hive is restricted to level 45+ heroes.
* The raid team leaders will use the Request channel to coordinate the teams. Please monitor the channel for instructions, but do not use it unless you are one of the raid team leaders
* It will hold 50 heroes, if the Hive fills up, do not leave the zone, there is no guarantee you'll get back into that instance.
* The Hamidon will spawn (bloom) 3 sets of Mitos at (75%, 50%, and 25%), in addition to the mitos that initially spawn with him.
* After Hamidon is defeated you will have the option of selecting 53 Reward Merits or a random Hamidon Origin Enhancement if you are level 47+.

Please pass this information on in global channels and other forms of communication.

Just a FYI, we're gonna need a full Hive to pull this one off. I got confirmation that the green mito bug does not only apply to the LGTF Hamidon, but the real Hamidon as well. It doesn't mean they're not killable, we just need a full raiding party to do it. It is unlikely that a fix will be on live this week as they seem to have a much bigger fish to fry. I do not intend on canceling the raid on this news alone. Will keep everyone posted as things develop.

How many holders do you think will be necessary to overcome the bug?

That's not it. Holding them will drop the damage resistance but not the regen. So, more damage resistance debuff and damage will be needed to take out the greens. Still very doable, but more people will make this go quicker.

Good thing I'm bringing one of those, then.

There was no mention of the Mitos being fixed in the patch notes for today. Would it be beneficial to grab all three nukes?

Though this seems counter productive, it may be in everyone's best interest to hold off for 2 reasons.

2) The green mito bug.

1) MOTHER AGGRO!!! some may have mother's day plans for Sat, may be traveling and unable to attend. At this time, my chances for being on this Sat are 50/50.

But if I am on, I will do my best to lay down some green mito's.

Quick question(s).

If the greens are as tough as others have said, would it be possible to skip them. Meaning attack yellow and blue, leave the green alone and attack Hami?

Or do they heal him as well?

I am in! Always up for a challenge. Please let me know which nukes would be most beneficial.

Yes, I'm aware of the raids on Virtue. They got through the first raid just fine and hit a road block on their second raid. This was villain side. They were able to clear the first bloom after a small revision in strategy. But then the leader decided they should try killing hami through all 3 remaining blooms (they were able to kill hami through 2 blooms in the first raid). Without going into details of what happened, this is the result:

So while it is possible to ignore blooms, it is something we're not ready for *yet*. Bringing all 3 warburg nukes would be helpful if their uses are coordinated. I believe nearly all of the raid leadership core will be present for this raid (please correct me if otherwise). The green mito bug is not a problem if we get the same kind of turnout we did last raid. So I'm not going to cancel the raid, but rather, let the community decide whether we proceed or not. In the meantime, I'm also gonna consult with raid leaders from other servers to see what their take on the issue is.

I'll be there if I am available, but if the greens are an issue, can we just ignore them.

No, the greens cannot be ignored. Several factors involved in why I say this - after seeing the raid leader on Virtue attempt that very thing on the starting mito spawn.

1. Yes, they do heal Hami - and a mostly full Abyss all attacking Hami didn't seem to make one bit of difference to his HP for more than a few seconds before it was healed back by the greens.

2. If we get Hami down to 75% and he spawns a bloom - now we have 12 greens healing the yellows and blues and hami. Those original 6 don't get "replaced" or anything, each bloom just adds more mitos.

3. Say we manage to get the blues and yellows down - which we occasionally have some difficulty with given just the original 6 greens in a bloom, mind. We then have 12 greens healing Hami...

4. Imagine the bloom at 50% assuming we can get Hami down to 50%? Yeah, 18 greens. Then the 25% bloom...uh... 24 greens to overcome for the last bloom's yellows, blues, and finally hami.

No, I don't see this as being even remotely feasible. *IF* they didn't heal Hami - and if they despawned/didn't-re-spawn-per-bloom? Maybe.

ahhh I see. Double greens would not be a good thing, espically drug crazed greens.

I've got my bio nuke and jello spoon ready!

Also, here's a tip. If you got EoEs in storage, email them to yourself or someone you know that will be at the raid before the raid.

HiHi

Just wanted to pop in from Champion. I'm 1 of the raid leaders there and we've had issues with the greens. We've been in contact with Virtue about it as well.

Virtue's raiders always have a lot of scrappers and heavy damage. Last raid I was involved in on Virture, they had 30 scrappers. We're lucky to get a full team of them on Champion.

Our last raid this past Sunday was a bust... Even with everyone in zone on 1 green mito we still couldnt out damage the regen issue.

You may want to have everyone get a jet pack in advance.. We're going to try that as well.

Wishing you lots of success!

Kid... for this one, if you need me to turn over targetting to someone else and bring a scrapper instead, I can. Just give me enough warning to get into warburg with her for some nukes.

You're still targeting. Scrapper isn't the only kind of damage out there. That and a healthy dose of damage resist debuff to amplify the damage helps too.

I am 50/50 on this raid. If I make it, I will most likely be late. I have no nukes.
