I'd been assuming it was yet another ATI-related problem, but it sounds instead like it may be wireless network-related. I'm running an old router; maybe there's something in the new information that doesn't play well with older wireless transfer protocols?
My postings to this forum are not to be used as data in any research study without my express written consent.
The consensus I'm getting with this issue is it's isolated to those of us using wireless connections.
Still not sure what the common reason is though...

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem but I can't stay connected to the game hardly at all. This happens really quick too when I try to log on to play my new MM. It loses connection and bumps back to the log in screen in less than a minute. It also seems to be messing with my internet connection as well after quitting the game. I am unable to connect to the internet afterwards unless I restart my laptop. It's a wireless connection so maybe that's the problem, but I think it something with the game itself since I rarely had the problem before.
Just curious if anyone else is having this problem and knows of any solutions. And before anyone else repost: I don't have ATI and nor Google Search.
