How are you determining that it's not working?
It's always accepted Defense, that's what it does. Grants defense to teammates in range.
[If you're expecting it to help YOU, it doesn't and never has, it's a teammate only buff]
Edit: I'm at work, so I can't check, but do you mean that it's not showing a change in it's effects via the real-numbers display (ie show details stuff)? Could be the display got messed up, but I don't remember anyone saying anything about it during Beta, but it could be nobody noticed.

Yes the display on the enhancement screen as well as the combat attribute screen are now different than that of Issue 16. It has been changed seemingly to...not accept the defense enhancements that I put into them. I want to know if I am NOT suppose to put defense enhancements into them or if this is some kind of bug.
If it's really no longer accepting Defense and/or defense enhancements aren't working anymore, then I'd say it's a bug. There wasn't any mention of it being altered.
But the question would then be is it a bug with the power (ie defense bonus changed to non-enhanceable) or just the info display?
Try getting a teammate into range and see what defense bonuses they get from it.
I'll check it out when I get home tonight too....

Hello, my name is Soulwind and I have Alt-Itis.
After the release of Issue 17, I noticed that the power Grant Cover say it accepts Defense enhancements, but doesn't seem to affect it when I add those enhancements into it. I do not see any increase in defense or defense debuff and recharge resistance. So my question is...why does it accept defense enhancements when it doesn't do anything? At least it doesn't SEEM to be doing anything to me. Would someone clarify this to me? Thank you very much!
