Mez knowledge

This is mainly a suggestion for Stone Armor characters, though it would have other uses.

Basically, when an enemy hits you with a mez power, sometimes it's hard to spot the icon for that mez power in your list of powers affecting you. A lot of times the icons for those powers don't even indicate a mez. Now, sometimes there are situations where you want or have to drop your mez protection. Most of the time this is when a Stone character wants to turn off Rooted for a second to move somewhere, but there are other situations too.

Putting those two things together, sometimes you don't know you'd be mezzed without your mez protection until it drops and you get mezzed, and then it's too late. So here's the suggestion: similar to how when you get mezzed, red text appears below your health bar telling you how you're mezzed, put blue text below your health bar when you would be mezzed if not for your mez protection.

Issue 16 made me feel like this.

... Can't you just monitor your mez protection?

Mez protection powers are -mez, mez powers are +mez. I haven't bothered looking, so the combat attributes window may reverse that to make more sense to the average player, but in any case it would tell you how you're doing.

I have the agree with He Who Punches Vandal - this is a basic functionality that really shouldn't require specific setups to monitor. I was really dubious at first about how that would work, but having blue text saying "Held" while hold magnitude is lower than your protection is actually pretty clever. It gives you a good idea as to whether you can turn off your toggles, whether you can rest and, most importantly, whether running out of your endurance and having THAT drop your toggles might not be a BAD idea. There aren't terribly many situations where that is too useful, but at the same time, I can't think of a single situation where it would get in the way.

The flip side of that being confusion - "Why does it say held when I'm not?" Yeah, I know, different colors, etc. But everything on you - whether you're actually *held* or not - does show up already. (I'd have to argue "A lot of times those icons don't even indicate a mez," every one I can think of looks like every other standard mez icon.)

Now, in the interest of "I can't pick that out in all those icons" (as well as "I want to monitor buffs," which works for other ATs and powersets, not just the specific issue of Rooted,) having grouping options ("Show all like icons together") that you can also filter with a bit more granularity than we have now, I think would be a bit more universally useful.

I wouldn't like it.

Which isn't saying much, I know, I would just personally find a little message going "held" annoying.
