Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

I have come to a realization that I really don't know my stuff when it comes to IO sets. I really don't have that kind of money and I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for what powers to take and when to take them (if there is anything that needs to be changed with that) and more importantly how to slot the powers to be most effective. Any suggestions on inexpensive sets that make the powers that much better would be great too. I thank you all in advance for the guidance.

Alright, due to my "obvious" lack of knowledge, I have simplified the build and just used the basic IO's. Now, I would love some support and encouragement on how to fine tune this build with suggestions as to which powers I absolutely do/don't need to take and when to take them, how to slot them properly, and which sets (if any) fit into these powers. I'm not looking to spend a ton of money (just what she can accumulate through leveling up). So with that in mind, I welcome and constructive criticism anyone might have.

Btw...calling all of my builds trolls and then not explaining how to make them any better doesn't help anything. they may be bad, but in my experience, it's always better to just try and help someone instead of just saying it sucks and walking away.

i assumed you were a troll since all 5 of the builds were unimaginably bad for how much inf would have been sunk into them(rather, no person who has actually leveld through the game would make those PoS). actually if you look in your blaster thread, i gave you criticism then assumed it would fall on deaf ears since your posts just appeared to be a massive troll cross post.


Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

Well I'm sorry that I'm not most people who would ignore any sort of help. I did post the builds in order to get help from those who have greater knowledge than I do. And if you look at all of the threads I have posted (other than the blaster whom I am busy fixing), I have taken the advice and fixed my builds. All I'm asking is that you not automatically judge me and instead help me figure out what I'm working on so it would make the game better for me and those that I'm teaming with. For all you know, I could end up on a team with you. So in that case just writing me off as someone who just can't do it isn't going to help anything at all.

Here's a basic IO/SO build. I used SOs in the places where upgrading to common IOs wouldn't make any difference so you can cut down on cost by a lot. I switched amplify to scream and dreadful wail to screech to help with -res stacking. I did put two non-common IOs into the build since they're ones that make a very large difference and aren't terribly hard to get (knockback protection and +3% defense).
