Elec/SD for general PvE with farming ability
This is what I am working towards on a brute atm, got the same build already on a scrapper. It does a dream, can't wait to get the brute to the same lvls, only 22 at this time after 2 days.
Ranged is still softcapped after the BotZ change, even though it diesnt show in mids yet.
Although a lot of your bonus percentage look better, you are missing a lot of defence and to a lesser extent resistance by not slotting your defences properly to start, just an observation.

We have the same def basically, but you do have a bit more res, but I also have 9.8 more hp/sec regen which should easily make up for the res loss, not to mention more recharge on my kd attacks for more mitigation...but yea, I'm hoping to get decent if not awesome ST damage but not sure if I'll be able to
I've been working on a build for my elec/sd and I can't seem to find where I could make it better if anywhere so I bring it here.
I plan on playing him in general PvE with the leaning towards TFs, but I would also like to be able to farm to make him some money and to help my SG mates level. I would like more recharge to run the gloom, ci, jacob, charged attack chain, but atm it looks like every other attack is going to need to be charged because of CI's long recharge time... I dont like 6 slot build up, such a waste. But I dont see anyway to get back the Def you lose without changing things so Im not going to offer advice there....keep that in mind if you ever get enough for the Gladiator Unique I guess.
Find a way to add the Force Feedback +Rech proc to Thunderstrike. That +Regen in health is superfluous in my opinion....youll be happy with the tradeoff.
If this is your first farming build, good job...you avoided a lot of the usual pitfalls.
While I try to add stuff to these build threads I am never one to change peoples builds...this one seems to be well-thought out.

And yea, but at 1.25 usable def/slot it is way too good to pass up, it is just short of pre-nerf botz and better than just about every other def in set bonuses, plus it's a power I'm going to use whenever it is up anyway, and yea, not gonna put the glad unique in this guy if I get it probably, will trade it for a blue one :P
Alright, I'll see if I can do that, figured it might be good and I can maybe lose a little regen for it, but regen never hurts on a def toon w/o a heal
