World Server spotted in EU training room

Hey, i logged onto the training room the other day for i17's beta only to notice there was a server labeled "WorldServer".
now i havent been on the training room for a long while so i don't know how long this has been there but what and why is it there. is it some sort of test to see if they can merge the EU and US servers???? =O

There was an announcement the other day about them testing a new server tech on the EU training room. Hmmmmm....

Nope, the announcement was about Testing a new server technology on the North American training rooms

The 'WorldSever' is basically what contains/links to the other servers - db, map, chat, etc.

As much as I would like what you are guessing to be true...I doubt it is
