I just got a new computer and I am downloading the game client. I have been stuck at piggs/sound.pigg for a long time. It is presently showing me 0B/sec download with more time than I have left in my life to download. Ironically, this is the last thing I remember seeing before my previous computer had a motherboard meltdown. Any ideas? Should I just be patient?

I passed the sound.piggs with a ridiculous amount of hours remaining (mine was 777k hours) problem twice but different methods.

Method 1: Wait 2-3 hours while it's stuck with the guide under "slow updating" http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...657#post803657. Mine is this "-ps 64.25.34.140" but It might be the same for you. Waiting awhile might, eventually, pass the stuck phase starting at bytes and rises the speed slowly.

Method 2 (on other PC): I'm not sure how it happened but it didn't get stuck even for a second. The only thing I did different, on my laptop, is install it without the discs but the "slow updating" guide mentioned in method 1 with "-ps 64.25.34.140" also.

I really hope this helps. If you are an expert in programming then you can ask me a few questions about other possibilities why my PC in method 2 passed without getting stuck and can share it here

If you had read the thread Dew, you would know that this issue was from back in April before I17.
