Question about vet badges and gaps in between paid time

My account lapsed in early January and I got it back in late February. It lapsed again in March but I got it back earlier this month, and I intent to pay for it again next month. That would be three paid months since my first account lapse. My question is, will I get a vet badge for those three spaced-out months or do the months for a vet badge have to be consecutive?

The months do not have to be consecutive, and are supposed to count for all the time your account is active (including things like free periods from having your friends subscribe, the use of game time cards, and upgrading your account with retail boxes).

However, for the last 10 months or so, a lot of people haven't been getting their Vet Reward badges on time. You should earn it the day you pay for your 4th month. If you don't, you'll need to send a petition to NCSoft tech support to be awarded the badge.

Seeing this topic made me curious, so I checked my Account page last night. I found that it showed me being 2 months behind where I should have been for Veteran Reward time. I opened up a ticket with Support and they got back to me today saying that a fix is in the works, and will likely be in before my next reward, which is set for the 28th. I really hope that this is true, but I also know that customer support will often tell you what you want to hear to get you out of their hair. I suppose that I'll know in 2 weeks.
