MA Animation Bug?
The only time I've had this happen to me was when I was editing a mission with multiple details in Peregrine Island during a Rikti invasion. Try minimizing details when you're not working on them, and doing your editing in a low-population zone.

The problem is with any animation in every MA mission. Start to create a new MA mission, for example, and the contact animations will slow it down.
I'm having the exact same issue. Every time I pick an object/contact/mob, the preview animation seems to cripple my framerate. It then becomes an infuriating minigame of timing my clicks to each frame in order to stop the animation.

Yeah I get this too and it's the main reason I don't use AE
Just wondering if I was the only one that had this problem.
Whenever I choose 'start animation', or it gets choosen for me, the entire game slows down to 0.5 frames per second. Which is odd, since I run it with everything maxed.
Any ideas? this is really annoying.
