So, in other news, I finally got myself a copy of Mass Effect 2 this past week. Woo! That is some fun stuff. I am finding Shepard the Adept + Tali is a damn near unstoppable combo.

Im so far behind on reading The Dresden Files ever since that poorly done tv series.. I just finished reading 'Blood Rites' so I think I'm 6 books behind, including the new one.

I own all the short stories (which was actually good because I could check out other authors too) though finally he's releasing the short stories in an anthology this fall/winter, which will include at least 1 story that occured after Changes. That's good because the ending to book 12 was a cliffhanger and quite frankly, the thought of waiting another year for what happens next makes me want to punch something.

I actually liked the TV series. I thought it had potential--even if it was a departure from the books. I think if it had continued it really could have been a good show. I've only read the first 9 books, so far. I need to get back to reading them. Quite enjoyable. But I've been re-reading the Song of Ice and Fire series and have the 2nd Dragon Age book to finish up before I get back to more contemporary... magic.|

I ended up quitting Martin's series. It was one of the first old school Fantasy books I've read in awhile but it just got to be so long, slow and tedious to work through. I'm not a huge fan of straight up Fantasy books...the interest waned after all the Drizzt Do'Urden I read and decided comics were more up my alley. The urban fantasy genre's piqued my interest though so Butcher and Simon Green are two authors I'm following regularly right now.
I'm anxiously awaiting for the third installment of the Gentlemen Bastards sequence (Lies of Locke Lamora and Red Seas Under Red Skies). Other than that, well...I should probably start rooting around for something else to read or do.
