Hopefully we can get 2 pools of 5 teams. 10 teams total for next season.

I agree with this I would love to have enough people for ladders. Honestly I think the team FFA's are really the best bet for introducing newer pvp'rs to a competitive team setting. Since your not all alone against a significantly more expieranced team where your trounced as soon as you leave the spawn point. The Team FFA's are allowing for everyone to really get there team in and mix it up. Yes this is a bit of a build up for season 2. I really hope to get more people, everyone this season wether new or veteran has improved as the season went on. It will only take a little while before folks look to be more competitive and we can get a pinn ladder up and running. I eagerly await that time.
/e claims HaX Neuronia hAx for his ladder team.

I have no preferences on teams on Pinn, though obviously having teamed with JK and Kiwi and Funk before it's easier with those people. I'm going to be running (order of preference) my Emp, Rad/Psy (lf PL, level 35 now...) or Cold on a team so whatever, really.

Anyway. glhf in the last match of PinnCup and the Chase Wednesday...

I also would like to do fun KBs. i.e low levels, unslotted toons just to mix it up. I have done a few of those and they can be rather hilarious

a Ladder would be the ultimate goal. I wonder if we can have the CUP as the intro developmental league and slowly transist into the Ladder....HHHMMMM Sorta like the Minors and the Majors....

I draft you, Kiwi, Machina, Funk and doyler.

Kgo.

If we do a ladder we're going to need 4-5 teams that can consistently show up on one or two nights a week to fight it out. There would need to be a pre-season tilt to determine standings, then the challenges start from there.

I'd suggest 3 v3 or 4 v 4 at most, given Pinn is pretty small pop and you'd probably have trouble getting more than four or five teams...of course you'd need to figure if it's best of 1, best of 3, map picks, Arena settings, banned powers (if deemed necessary), AT limitations (if deemed necessary) and all that fun stuff.

And prizes.

I like the Minor Majors type Idea. Since the Team FFA's are easier to just jump right into. But yes I REALLY would love some Ladder stuff, I'm dying for some great competition. (In no way am I saying that the Cup wasnt great competition just a higher level of competition)

The biggest thing really is getting new players to join, and retaining those players. As well has having a really good number of dedicated players to always be willing to participate.

Also, given the small pop server of Pinn, i'd say it'd have to be 3v3, with 2 bench, 5 max players per ladder team. if not, we can opt for a 4v4, 2 bench, 6 players max. But that's pushing it since we really do have a small pop server. Let alone pvp community.

I'd like to say that Pinnacle at least has a NEWBIE FRIENDLY pvp community, so that's pretty good. It'd give the ones who've always been interested but too intimidated a chance to actually just hop in.

Also, the good players really need to step up and be captains themselves if this is going to be so. So that all the EXP gets lumped up into one team or two. It's to avoid stacking. At least this way, everyone's got a chance. At least, that'd be the idea anyway. Not really set it stone.

I also PROPOSE a Pinnacle PvP University. It's basically a topic for which people interested in PvP that have questions will be helped by the more knowledgeable base.

Great Season All!
Heres to next season with more people. This is truely a great way for newer pvp'rs to get into it. Tell your friends tell your SG's and bring it on for next season.

Thanks for playing everyone.
It was definitely fun playing a disruption toon vs. my usual heal/buffbot and it was very enjoyable fighting vs. everyone.

I'd like to thank Funk and Kiwi for carrying the offense, it was a pleasure setting up KB/Mez spikes to help with your targeting.

Next in line, everyone else including Machina for the 20+ kill caves match, Cloud Surge for the disruption, everyone else who showed up even when shorthanded (severely so in some cases) and made a game of it. LOL @ the Eden map when we are all chasing around Warpus down the tunnels, that was pretty epic and funny.

I hope that everyone had fun. I know myself when you are on the short end of the stick it can be very frustrating but you do learn and you adapt and hopefully you get better too.
Next season is a 4 v 4 season so the format will change less to KSing and open-ended madness to a more focused team approach. Hope to see many of you in the Arena then with your teams. You won't be constrained to your single character either, so that's a big plus for those of us with several builds to bring to the table.

Thanks for the great sportsmanship, see you next season! Oh, I also got a Glad Jav dam/rech in there.

P.S. LF 3 teammates, hopefully Funk, Kiwi and Machina are in that mix for the next season...I'll be rolling my Emp or Therm or Cold or Rad....

Cheers everyone.

Neuronia! :P The Pinnacle Cup will be 3 man team FFA still for next season.

What we will have after that is the official Pinnacle Ladder League, which is 4v4 format :P

Yeah, the test one is pretty much for learning more intense stuff. Pinnacle will be more for fun and just not really get stupid. Althought I'm pretty excited to see if it(Test Ladder) jumps off, but I still have my reservations about it.

So playing time isn't a big deal anymore. If they can plug me in, I'm good, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm happy with the direction the Pinnacle PvP Community is heading. And honestly, small teams suit me. Just need more participants. MOAR!

Already have my season 2 lineup ready to be signed up. Already working on Ladder stuff as well. Neuronia if its pinn and pvp I'm all over it, so of course I'm in the mix. I've said I'll be a capt for a ladder team and if I get lucky enough to get you on the team before Funk can then even better. But I have no issue playing with some folks that dont pvp as often as well. I loooooove to win! But if I get 3 people who dont pvp much to pvp more and get better I'm still happy at the end of the day.

I'm gonna sign up for PinCup 2 also...Mantle [@M I A, but not coming back as Mantle lol] said he would come back...haven't talked to Shanks yet

This time "Team Wipe" hopes to have made some pvp toons and hope we are a little more competitive.
