Do taunt auras really need to be turned off when your mezzed?
Most Taunt Auras do more than Taunt. they either damage, or debuff enemies. Those get turned off. Things that affect yourself or teammates get suppressed, but anything outside that gets turned off.
Still FAR better than the way things used to be.

You have mez protection. What are you complaining about?
Now my DP/Fire blaster? It's bad enough my damage is hampered by mez, but after it wares I have to choose to keep shooting to keep up the DPS or take the time to shut on blazing aura/hot feet which animate pretty slow.

This isn't a complaining thread. I honestly wanted to know why they had to be supressed. Lemur answered that for me. Thank you. This question only came up because of my Spines/regen guy

This is one of the reasons there are less viable sets than there were before (which is, ironically, one of the reasons changes were made in the first place).

I'm talking about pvp mostly but it kinda is annoying when some of the taunt aruas that are part of your build get shut down because you get mezzed. Would it really be over powering the melee ATs by keeping their tank auras on? This is a honest question. Most people kinda know what the Devs are talking about when they add an update but why must they be shut off?
