Yeah, I've heard a few people having the problem. My advice is to exit the game, open up the loader and run the "verify files" function. Hopefully that will fix it, if it doesn't let us know and maybe someone will have another idea.

Some people there have posted instructions for forcing it to re-download the affected files.

All I had to do was quit to desktop and then restart the game. The updater repaired the corrupted files without me having to do anything other than wait.
And a betting pool is now being opened on how many more of these threads will get started today despite there being plenty in several different areas right on those areas' first pages?

The disturbing part is it wasn't *really* that many years ago that those screenshots would have been "an amazing-looking game with advanced graphics". heh, heh...
I was just on the game, Talos Island to be specific and when I logged in this is what i see...
those white boxes are supposed to be the light from the streetlamps
and that mess is the lights in the rear area of wentworths
Now i logged in right after the patch, yesterday the game was working fine, but it should be noted that i logged out yesterday on the medpad in the hospital so that the rez graphics played when i logged in today... (something i never do)
Am I the only one?
I don't know what my system specs are so... ya.
