Corruptors have more base damage, Defenders have better buffs and debuffs. Since the amount of mitigation in Kinetics isn't high, I made the choice to go with the AT that made better use of the buffs with less reliance on the heal, in short corruptor.
Part of that was because I already had a Kinetic Defender and Kinetic Controller though.

I would assume that the Corruptor would be the better at solo PvE, based on my own experiences with soloing a Kinetics Corruptor.
The real benefit of making a kin defender is that you get access to Transference at 26 and Fulcrum Shift at 32 (instead of 35 and 38 respectively). The difference in buff/debuff strength is not hugely significant.
I was wondering what the differences between the defender versions and the corrupter version of DP-Kin. Also, which would be better for solo PvE? Thanks
