There is no Mez protection in pvp anymore. Only mez resist. So break frees aren't usefull anymore.
No you will not be locked down all the time, mez supression still works normally, and as a blaster you'll find isn't so bad. Remember Defiance? You can shoot through crippling mezes. Sleep, hold, stun, ect.
I should also mention that the moves that you CAN use while mezed, also happen to be your top 2 stronger moves anyway (and in some sets, the strongest moves).
Fire blast is good, fire manipulation.... not so much.
Devices is good for pvp, but someone who uses them more than I can explain in better detail.
Edit: I should add that Knockback and confuse are the only real worrysome problems. Knockback because you can't fire and and fall flat every time, and confuse because you can shoot, but just your teammates...

I am thinking of building up one of my blasters for PvP. Usually have done my tanks and scrappers in the past. How much of an issue is mez powers against them ? I remember the mez times were lowered but will you find yourself locked down most of the time ? Is there there good mez protection for a blaster ? Their PvP resist base looks stupidly good.
The one I was considering was my ole fire fire. I do have some others. Opinions ?
Almost forgot - the toys in the devices group sound really cool. Is devices worthwhile in PvP ?
