Tell me About Touch of Fear...

Hello! I have recently decided to make a consolidated analysis on the power Touch of Fear, and part of doing that includes started a discussion about the power. Please tell me your opinions of Touch of Fear as it pertains to the Stalker Archetype. I will be posting a similiar thread in the Tanker, Brute, and Scrapper forums as well, if you wish to express your opinions of the power within other archetypes.

The more details you can give the better. My overall goal is not only to examine how Touch of Fear works within the various Archetypes it can be found within, but also how it interacts in a teaming or solo situations.

Thank you in advance for any who partake in this discussion.

Quick, easy solo tactic:
>Build up and AS a target (and finish him with additional attack if needed)
>Tab and Touch of Fear the next
>Tab and Placate the next
>Tab and Midnight Grasp crit the next or feared foe(always 1-shots a minion or most Lts)

That's potentially 4 foes incapacitated with your 1st chain of actions indefinitely or for around 20sec. And this is available to cycle every group.

Easy team tactic:
>ToF a target then Placate it

If you're teamed with anyone that you don't want to dump extra aggro on, the foe will either simply attack no one or most likely miss whomever it targets.

My experience comes from the Imperious TF on my DM/WP stalker. Since his build focuses primarily on +dmg bonuses, he has only a bit of extra defense. The -ToHit helps him pull of extra Assassinations primarily but it also has the side effect of mitigating other foes so he can focus attacks on one target at a time.

In that TF, there's lots of EBs running amuck which need copious amounts of dmg to eliminate quickly. And since EBs don't resist debuffs as harshly as AVs, it made fighting multiples of them a breeze. Running side-by-side with scrappers and brutes, my guy just rips targets like that to shreds with or without ToF. When the crap hits the fan, my guy self-rezzes and vengeance up for some sick +dmg bonuses and uses ToF to handle extra aggro while the others get back up.

On a Stalker in PvE, I use ToF on a foe to help ensure that I can AS it or possibly something else in peace. This is particularly useful if you're using on a non-defense-based secondary or just don't have enough defense to be confident of it.

I do have to say, though, that having ToF in a Stalker's power list is more painful than it is on a Scrapper or Brute, because it's already a challenge to get a decent low-level attack chain when you're trying to fit in AS, Placate, BU and probably the Fitness pool.
