But seriously a great guide. Your assertions regarding performance are correct. I've dialed back alot of the shiny from CoH to get the framerates in a respectable 30fps range. It's hardly ideal but it's hard to argue with a machine that can play CoH pretty much anywhere you want to go, weighs less than 6lbs and costs less than 500 dollars.
Broad generalizations I make. There's always an exception. 
As my HS Math teacher would say, "If you got a better way to get there than how I did, use it. But if it doesn't work, that's why I'm here."
