Hm, no. Instead of adding 50% enhancement there, you doubled it (added 100% enhancement).

So your 1st row really should be...

Quote:
Code:
Regen Tissue: 25% regeneration + (25% * 50% end) + (25% * 50% heal) = 37.5% regeneration
If you replicate that correction in your tables I believe you'd have the correct values.

IMO, the easiest way to understand the "bug" is to just add the effect of whatever unique we're talking about to the base effect of the power. So a Regen Tissue is +25% Regen, and Health is +40% Regen, so Health with a Regen Tissue in it is a base of 65% Regen that you can slot heal enhancers in.

My understanding is that the BUG is doing the doubling. I'm just trying to show what I think the bug was/is doing.
No, I think you're adding the +recovery and the +regen. That doesn't happen.

The bug is that the +regen and +recovery are enhanceable ... assuming that you can slot the appropriate enhancements in the power.

Edit: The only "doubling" comes from adding 100% (or ED 95%-ish) enhancement to a power that has one of these IOs in it.

OK, if the bug IS that the +regen and +recovery are enhanceable (which I've always considered a feature instead of a bug), then that IS a problem, and we DO have reason to be afraid, and either Umbral's understanding is wrong, or my understanding of Umbral's understanding is wrong.

Maybe I just should just copy over to the test server to respec and move some things around and have a look. I feel like I'm getting conflicting expert testimony, but unlike in a trial, I'm allowed to go and gather evidence myself.

Edit: And... that's exactly when they decided to shut the test server down for two hours for some upgrade.

Good thing they hand out those free respecs...

I've gone through a fair amount of different ways to build a FM/SD

Firstly, i'd never choose aidself, Things die far too fast, and personally if you want to try and take more damage then a well built /SD can take, build a tank.

I've always played defence sets other than a half slotted /WP i had, and so i don't even exspect a scrapper to be able to tank any decent AVs. Pylons are easy, the things dead usually before it hits me. But AV wise, i don't even both tanking them. Especially not solo, it just doesn't interest me.

But i'm not saying /SD can't take punishment, because softcapped and with 30hp regen, it sure can. I just don't think trying to build Aidself into it, and loosing vitals is worth it.

FM/SD gets in there kills everything and gets out before anything hit, and worse case scenario, Insps are there lol. I just can't see why Aidself is ever worth using.

DM/SD gets you that heal, and with cash is bloody tough. Funnily enough though, i beat a pvp spec dm/sd brute with my pve build, because even with it's heal and - to-hit, fm really is silly damage purely because of no mitigation though.

So yeah, for sure build a /SD just pick dm or fm accordingly.
