Non-CoH related wireless network help

i have a question regarding wireless networking that is not related to CoH in any way.

i'm moving into a new apartment that has wireless. i do not have physical access to the wireless router. so, how do i connect to the network with items (such as DvD players and TVs that i can use to stream Netflix on) that require an actual line? accesss pointzs are an idea, but ussualy they require a direct line to the router too. using my pc (wifi capable) as an access point is also an idea, but not ideal.

i do this, and i should know how...but i've ben so stressed lately that i'm just confusing myself with even the most basic things. assuming i could probably just rig up something...but my brain is all fuzzy and can't think how to get it done. :-(

i can get any hardware needed (within reason), i just can't seem to plot out what i need or a strategy. :-P

any help or atempts to knock my head straight would be greatly appreciated. :-)

It's handy for connecting wired and usb devices remotely. I've connected an xbox (running xbmc) to it and streamed movies through 3 walls and about 70 feet without a problem.

nevermind, i was being silly. i don't know what made me not think of using a bridge. :-/
