If you're a true Altaholic then I'd stay away from Shield Defense, as those generally take a sizable amount of cash to shake the ground. But. Being the fact that when they do shake the ground, the REALLY shake the ground and it's possible that you might like it enough to take it all the way.

Well, as far as the "pvp at least decently" part goes, Regen really is the best option for that. Anything defense based will get shredded by high accuracy characters (i.e. anything in a PvP zone), and resistance based doesn't fare much better, though Electric can be made decent if you sink some cash into it.
Try Dark Melee/Willpower. Not a common choice, it should PvP okay, and it will solo very well.

my fire/sd is sooo fun, dmg wise, but broadsword looks so cool!... *sigh* which one to keep and io?! possibly the bs, since I have a 50 fire/sr already?... >.>

I usually have no problems with redraw, but it just seems so slooooooooow during this combo. In teams, after I clear up the minions with my SC and draw the sword to HS a boss, I often find him already dead before I finish my swing.
Hey Im looking for a build that can both solo well and pvp at least decently. I'd also like for it to be a lil out of the ordinary so not BS/SD or /Regen. Im a bit of a altaholic but im tryin to find something i can stick with.
