~50-60% Recharge
2.5 EndRec
1.8 EndUse
1606 HP (you should cap this with HPT alone.)
As high as you can over the JumpSpeed/Speed cap.
Slot your main attacks (Assassin's Shock / Thunderstrike / the two shark powers) with the following setup:
3 Nucleus HOs / 3 damage procs.
Or if you need +dam set bonuses:
4 devastation/4 mako + 2 damage procs.

Is combat jumping all that important? Or is it just a stepping stone to SJ?
For damage mitigation, would you say that resist is more or less important than defense, or should I be striving for a balance between the two?

If I get tagged by an immob, I turn on CJ until it wears off, and then switch back to SJ. Regarding mitigation: your stealth is your mitigation on a WP, as you don't really have a lot of resistance to anything other than smash/lethal/psi and no real defense to speak of. You've got a solid self-heal up every 20-30 seconds, but it's usually used as more of an "oh ****" button to buy you a precious second or two to get off phase after you've been targeted. I find that between Phase, Shadow Meld, Reconstruction, and Invisibility (I'll toggle invis on if I need a getaway from a distance, as its stealth does not suppress) I rarely die unless I get mez spiked.

So Fitness pool is out, and CJ in as a back up to Indomitable Will. With all the toggles running I can't see enough END to fight with... SS, SJ, IW, Stealth, Mind over Body, Heightened Senses, Tactics, and Assault (with occasional CJ).
Thoughts?
This is my (somewhat modified) adaptation of Con's first post-I13 Elec/WP build. I know he's moved on to a more expensive one that crams in more recovery and damage, but this one can handle running all the toggles at once and not bottoming out on end unless I try to get into a scrap-type fight (I don't). I usually drop SJ and turn on CJ when phase is up, as phase eats end like crazy.

You could spend those slots getting better hp or more +dmg.
Thats ridiculous. I think a strong point to go to is in the high 50s to mid 60s. After that the DR curve is just too steep. That extra 20 or so defense after 60 just isnt adding much.

Dark/Shield Build Thread
Just came across this thread while trying to make my first pvp toon, and elec/wp seemed like a good (affordable) start. I found another build on the forums here and played with it according to Xan's excellent advice, and I was hoping for some criticism on it.
I'll start off with some self-criticism in the hopes that someone can tell me just how significant these flaws are. The global accuracy bonuses are a lot lower than I had hoped (only +9%), but it was a trade-off to accomplish the minimum 30% damage bonus and 58% recharge bonus. I'm sure there's a better way to compromise, but I'm hoping the +16% toHit makes up for some of it.
Running both travel powers and all the toggles brings the end usage up to 1.95/sec, which seems a bit high, and I didn't know of a good way to cut this down other than switching to CJ in combat (if that's really necessary). I picked up Summon Widow only for the available set bonuses from Expedient Reinforcement. I'm not sure if there is a better option for the leftover power. I'm not married to Soul Mastery, but it did provide me the 5th LotG slot I needed for +recharge.
Any feedback is appreciated. Also, Xan mentioned trying to push movement speeds as far over the cap as possible, which I attempted but I was unsure of what kind of numbers to push for, so I went with roughly +10 over the cap for run/jump.

Hey all!
I'm a very old school PvEer and I'm looking to jump into some PvP. So far, all of my traditionally successful toons have been eaten alive in the PvP zones. Obviously practice will improve things, but I can't help but think that the build has an equally important impact. I've opted to go with a stalker to start since it seems to be a naturally adept PvP style toon... Elec/WP seems to be a popular choice according to what I've read on the boards so I've picked those.
I've put together a MiDs build, but I'm not sure if the focus is right or not. Primarily I've put in lots of recharge, some range with sharks, and procs if at all possible. I also took a couple of travels, and an escape power (hibernate). If possible I avoided multi target attacks, since this build will not be used for PvE.
I've posted it below for you all to look at. Any help would be much appreciated.
