Knockup/Knockback newbie question
Actually knock up seems to be a separate thing. Knock down and knock back are the same. Knock down is just knock back of 0.75 or less, more than that and it becomes knock back.
There is no way to turn kb or kd into knock up, and enhancing knock up just makes them go higher.
So you example of lightning rod means it is knock down normally, and will become knock back if you enhance it to 0.93. So that will be noticeable. Once it is over 0.75, increasing it further means they get knocked back further.
Also, keep in mind that knock down is affected by the relative levels of enemies. A lower level enemy than you will be knocked back even by lightning rod. Whereas a high level enemy like a purple con will be knocked down by something that would normally do knock back.
Also.. the difference between knockdown (less then .75 knockback) and knockback is that with knockdown, they just fall over in the spot they stand and don't move out of melee range... with knockback, they move away from you.. (It's more complicated then just "away", but it's always "away"). Some people find knockback annoying as they have to chase things down, where as with knockdown, they stay in range.
Knockup is a different effect where the enemy goes up in the air and falls back down in the same place. Increasing the magnatude of knock-up make them go up in the air higher. Knock-up is not on very many powers.
I gotta make pain. I gotta make things right. I gotta stop what's comin'. 'Least I gotta try.
So is Lighting Rod and Shield Charge knock back, but below the the magical .75 or knock up?
If neither of those are knock up powers, could I get an example of one?

Not sure there are any others for scrappers.

This is sorta a general question, but since it's relevant to my Scrapper build, I though I'd ask here...
I know that Knockback is knock up as long as the mag is less than 1. My question is, does being close to 1 knock them up higher?
Example: Lighting Rod has a default Knockback mag of .64. Through enhancement, you can raise that mag to .98. Does that make a difference? If so, is the difference measurable or noticeable?
