The figurines and the plaque are made of clay so no-one had to eat it 
We would have loved to had done the croatoa one but we couldnt find anyone who was willing to make all those figurines, cake makers seem to be very snoby about their time and that a project like ours would take up time they could be using to make loads of other cakes! grr silly people!
But i was pleased with our figurines which were made by someone from Earths work, his wife made flowers and stuff from sugar paste and offered to give our chars a go in clay

Congratulations again. The funny thing is, I was looking at this thread not realizing most of it was from over a year ago. I got to the sketch of the Croatoa cake and was getting ready to post something about it, I scroll down a couple posts and see pretty much the same post I was just about to make. Pretty nice cake by the way.
