Some fine tuning advice for my DM/SD.

I finally have gotten around to using Mids for the first time and thought I'd submit the build for my DM/SD Who's Your Bonedaddy (Liberty). It's got a fair amount of infl in it and I'd like to fine tune him to get the most from the build. While I am currently very happy with its performance, I am open to adjusting. At first glance, it seems as though I could benefit slightly from swapping the slotting for Grant Cover with the slotting for Battle Agility. What do you see as the build's most glaring weakness. DDR?
I do have a couple requests: I'd like to keep Grant Cover and keep Leaping as my travel power.

I'd say yes, swap the slotting around between Grant Cover and Battle Agility.

The only other thing that jumps out at me is trying to find another slot for a 4th Eradication in Soul Drain. It'll give you some more HP, which will help a Shield Defense character.

Hami-Os in Active Defense will let you get some more DDR as well. You can't slot for defense in it, but one of the Hami-Os enhances both defense and recarge, and Active Defense will accept it.

Otherwise it looks pretty solid.

I'm not qualified to talk about DM, but as far as the SD side is concerned, your biggest problems are 1) True Grit not slotted for +HP (it helps more than the minor exotic resistances) and 2) non-softcapped defense, especially melee defense (you can skimp on AoE a little, and maaaaybe ranged, but I'd try to softcap melee if possible).

This does assume that you have the 60Mo Vet reward which allows you to skip the travel power pre-req. The build will have softcapped defenses to all positions for those mid level TFs, switch the level 32 enh for level 31s if you want those bonuses to carry over to moonfire as well.

It was a conscious decision not to pick up MG, and all I'm losing is one extra attack that I can fit into an already adequate attack chain. Were I to solo AVs and such then I'd probably fit it in but that's not my intention with this build.

All in all I'd say that is less egregious than the slotting of deflection, dark consumption, soul drain, grant cover, and true grit in your build. The lack of ACC and recharge in dark consumption is especially glaring, since you didn't take stamina and you only have 25% global acc. Also, though I'm fuzzy about the mechanics of the +end proc, I believe that proc will give your foes the end, not you.

The same lack of acc applies to soul drain. I suppose you can herd a whole bunch of foes and hope that enough get hit to give you the maximum bonus/or just eat some yellows, even then I still wouldn't be comfortable with that power slotted with no ACCs.

Deflection and GC are overslotted, you can drop at least one level 50 def from deflection and dump it into True Grit for more HP, and even though I know what you are trying to do with GC I still don't think it's worth the heavy investment in slots.

Some great builds here. They're really showing me a different angle than what I had been focused on previously. For example, I had never considered to slot deflection with less than the ED-cap def, but with sufficient Obliterations and other Melee bonusing sets, it's not an issue. The Fire ancilary gives great defensive results as well. Lots to think about here. Probably will make some compromises in order to not have to too radically alter my playstyle ( I like Hasten for example, and would like to skip Dark Consumption still as I have Endurance totally under control) or pull my teeth chasing Obliterations, but I can clearly take some cues and get myself beefed up a bit. One small thing that I take into consideration is that, the vast majority of the time I will have some kind of Mystic Fortune buff on me (as I mostly run TFs and am a compulsive team Fortune-teller), about half of which give a +5% def so even if I am at 42-ish% to all, I tend to be effectively softcapped in most circumstances.

Your build, your play style. However Midnight Graps > Shadow Maul by ALOT. less activation time, immob, Superior damage. With solid recharge you should be able to easily chain Smite - Siphon Life - Shadow Maul. Which is a much higher damage output attack chain that what you've currently got in place.
