Arkhan Asylum
I haven't plaid it yet either, as I don't have a nex-gen console. My only option to play it was at a friend's house who literally, sits, watches, and tells you what buttons to press the entire time. I passed.

Excellent game. I didn't get it for forever, but finally grabbed it a week or so ago. Beat it a couple of days ago on the normal setting. Still need to run around and pick up the rest of the riddles I missed and go through the rest of the challenges, and then I think I'll do it on Hard because I secretly hate myself.
The boss fights were all a bit lame, unfortunately, but the game overall is easily the best single player game I've grabbed in a long time. My favorite part was trying over and over to kill all the party clowns in the first hallway on your way to 'the party'. I don't know how much times I died, but finally getting it was pretty satisfying. ^_^

Two naughty acronym teams / Ascension / Convenient / Artic and the Chillz / Fap / Other teams I can't remember (sorry.. mind is goin')
I'm pretty sure you can walk right on by them without incident. I never would, 'cause how much fun would that be; it's just an option.
On a related note, this weekend's Steam deal is Batman: Arkham Asylum for 25 bucks. There's also a pack with B: AA and the first Just Cause for a bit over $22, for those of you that like getting more for less.

My 6 year old grows so fast, and plays so rough with the dog that all his clothes get torn up, so every 6 months or so my wife goes to the Goodwill store, picks him up a big bag of play-clothes for $20-$30 and it lasts him 6 months. We also dropped off 3 bags of stuff that he'd outgrown. School clothes and such we get at Walmart, Sears, etc.
Anyway, she asked me to go with her today and while she was looking at the clothes, I browsed the electronics (sparse), books (old), looked in a locked case they had up front and saw it. Price was $4.99! I couldn't believe it! I've been wanting this since it came out.
Can't beat thai, I might have to start crusing the thrift stores more often.

The game engine really was not set up to handle boss fights, honestly. The combo system is set up to really shine when you're fighting a bunch of thugs at once, not one big dude. They felt like they were all there because a game "has" to have boss fights.
I think I'm on one of the last fights, but I'm so out of practice... I really liked Poison Ivy in the game, but I didn't care much for the boss fight... Actually, I don't think I've cared much for any of the boss fights in the game, and I don't play many games like this, so I don't know how they rate with other games' boss fights. Very stoked for the sequel.
