Supergroup Base Idea(SBI)! If you are apart of a "SUPERGROUP" You need to read this thread! ASAP

Over the years there has been complications with Super group bases, Down below my Super group has suggested really good ideas. So I just had to post them, and hope with your support within the community we can draw attention to the creators!

Add a A.I unit for your base!
Basically you buy disc's that you place on the ground of your base! And then BOOM! When you enter the room a hologram appears controlling many functions of the base!

1. It Generates control!

2. When you talk to it, It will help you search for items in the storage racks without having the trouble just opening random Racks hoping to find what you need! Just talk to him... (Of course there will be a search bar) scroll down a list of available items... Then drag the salvage into your inventory!

3.You can edit what the hologram looks like! Hell it could be your SG leader just doing what Sg leaders do best! Support you, it makes a massive effect on role-playing...

4. You know it, I know it, We ALL do! Base raids are officially taken out, but just in case it returns maybe the hologram can control your defensive guns unit, Since its an Artificial Intelligence it automatically targets threats and is immune to Taunt so it takes out healers first, tankers last!

5. Also maybe when you talk to it, it can buff you buy using the salvage and the buff ment (You need a buff machine in order to work) ... Same thing, Convenience!

6. It talks to you differently depending on your rank, giving you more options the higher rank!

7. Maybe its not just 1 hologram! It can be multiple characters, The introductions are different from separate ones! One hologram in the meeting room is your SG leader he says "Hello $name, how are you enjoying your stay with $Supergroup?" While a hologram in the library is a formal member and he says "Heya! Have you noticed the SG leader has gained weight? Shh please dont tell her I said that! QQ"

8. A.I could have also another option.... Instead of emailing ideas for your SG to your leader "O I want to delete that room its totally useless" you can just type it in a note which is punched into a system which other members can have access to it "We already have a dam Hospital! We don't need another one!"

9. Ive heard of rare situations where people join the Supergroup (A group that fastly promotes) and steals all the inventory away! Now adding a Hologram security will only allow members to take out a certain amount of resources depending on a rank!

10. The most important reason why I think there should be an A.I!!!! Its kool...

Please feedback on this! And we will keep coming up with Epic Ideas!

I've seen a lot of ideas about AIs and other npcs in bases, and there are just so many possibilities of what they can do. I have a few specific comments on your different points...

2. Searching through storage. Personally I would rather see a search bar added to each individual rack, and possibly some kind of color coding system or other way to differentiate between racks.

4. A hologram may work to defend your base, although it needs a very careful balance of power, and possibly the damage can work like Illusion pets and Spectral Wounds

5. We already have a base item to create buffs...although it may work, people may not necessarily want this hologram to do everything. Base items still need to retain usefulness.

8. I like this idea as a way for SG members to share ideas...maybe include an option in each note to choose who can see the ideas; just a leader, or everyone.

Also, don't forget that not all bases are tech. Providing some sort of arcane equivalent is definitely necessary if the AI is added.

I'd prefer to fix base design (pathing, etc.) before anymore fluff.

I also would prefer this search capability be by bin. Allowing anyone to pull from inventory in any bin thru this item would sorta negate the individual bin permissions added in Issue 13.

"Yes" to something to allow searching, "no" to one item allowing access to all.

Meh. I don't think I agree on what an SG Leader does best, though.

Although I will never, ever Base Raid, allowing an Item rather than a Player Character to make the decision about priority targets (take out the Healer before the Tank) during a Raid sounds awful.

<soapbox>On a side note - this game doesn't have "Healers" BTW.</soapbox>

Erm, if you have an Empowerment Station (that's the name of the Buff Machine), why do you need the A.I. to do this? Is this another effort to give it something more to do?

So here I just noticed that you are proposing an item that is universal and could be placed in any room, whereas in the current setup, a Control Item goes in a Control Room and a Workshop Item (such as an Empowerment Station) goes in a Workroom.

(p.s. - I think you may have meant something other than a "formal" member in the library dissing the Leader's weight - that's not a very "formal" thing to do).

A message board function has been asked for, and I've supported it, although I don't personally need one since I can just turn to my fellow SG member across the room and tell her what I want to say.

There's a solution in place for this since Issue 13. Set each bin with it's own permissions and Voila! Problem solved. BTW, this individual permission I think would be somewhat egated by you universal search function above.

A Hologram Security would just be an additional graphic - cool, but not really needed for functionality.

And if the SG promotes too fast, your Security hologram would still have let the miscreant member clean out the bins, since their rank would be high enough to do it anyway.

Only post ideas that are clear or make sense?!?!? Have you been in S & I long? We would lose easily 35% of the ideas posted here and that would lessen the entertainment value of the forum significantly. (I know it's your first post, but I can't tell how long you may have been lurking about).

Why add something to an idea that I don't really support? And you will have opinions on both sides (support & non-support) and you as the OP do not get to shape the kinds of responses you will get.

Overall, lots of ideas, but only a few I can see a real use for right now.

But don't let that stop you from thinking of more of them. I will be interested to see what you dream up next.
