The ones that ambush you in the war room are easily defeated since you have a handful of EBs helping you.
The rest, only 3 of them, are in the final room.

Seriously. It doesn't matter if thirty spawns overlap. If you ding one minion and pull back, you'll only have to deal with one spawn at a time.

last time i ran that mish i did it on a full team and i think i counted about 30 ballistas in the whole mish lol, not sure what the numbers are like on smaller teams though

it was actually quite fun, the only annoying part was after we thought we got most everything, we found out that it happened to be a kill all (with like 4 floors)

At that level, there's only 4-6 Ballistae in the last mission, and the prison-room only has 4 spawns of three minions or a lt.-minion pair.
