What is the big deal?

It doesn't detoggle when the defender takes damage.

Got that backwards...

Dom/Troller TK is an autohit toggle hold, but it breaks when the target takes damage. Defender TK does repel on top of that, and the repel effect doesn't break (so while you might be able to attack after you've been damaged, you won't actually be able to move). Basically, it works more or less like all versions of TK used to work.

Do breaks frees still break the repel effect? If so, I don't see why it would be banned from competition.

And even if it doesn't, why is it a big deal? There are very easy ways to get out of TK's repel. Unless you were stuck in some small room, it was never an issue before, so why can nobody deal with it now?

Tests will be needed, but from what I understand BFs and powers like ID don't break the repel.

to my knowledge it isn't perma like it was pre13, so long as the person had the endurance and didn't get held, they could keep it on all day... Now theres a timer on it..

Breakfrees will do nothing, but ID might lessen the time it takes for TK to drop, havn't tested it though.
