Had good tanky fun last night.
Are the transfers still in place? I know they were supposed to end 2/28 but people on the forums are still talking like they are there...?
I, personally, would prefer for TT on Champion to be more than just a once a month thing.
Alas, I missed this one. I had already volunteered to run with a bunch of newly minted pistols defenders and blasters through Positron when I remembered.

Thanks much to everyone who showed up for Tanker Tuesday Justice. The Master portion of the MoITF ended up not working out, but we still had a successful ITF in the end.

My level 17 Stone/SS (using yellowed DOs) found himself on a Peregrine Island team, SSKed to 49 and facing...+5 Mu.
Yeah, we went up against 54s for a bit.
I actually lasted a while since I didn't strip the aggro off the other Tankers. But that came to an end, along with our desire to fight +5s, so we reset the diff and ran a few radios.

Sounds like we had a good TTJ, sorry I was unable to attend, but RL has been placing demands.
Anyways...as Sailboat mentioned next TT will be on Guardian on the 16th! Hopefully RL will calm down enough for me to make it.

Guardian is my home server and I've got 8 tanks on it, all of which I love to play. (Going for at least one of every tanker primary)
It was great fun, was slow going at first but it ended up being a blast, with me being the "fail tank" and dying more then everyone else combined...I am still pretty squishy on that tank apparently. However I am not just one level away from my tier 8 shield attack and am very excited.
I however had to bail at the end of the third mission, been working marathon shifts at work and the need for sleep caught up to me.
It was fun though, thanks again everyone.
Glad you can make it and enjoyed the event. Hope to see you at some other TT's!
Next stop is Triumph on the 23rd! If you don't have a Tank there roll one up, if you've got one bring it out to the event! I'll post to the Triumph forum and if we have any TTer's that make Triumph their home, start talking us up on the server channels.

The TT Team I was on had 3 Macers and 2 Energy Melee Tankers, which was kind of unusual. We were also the baby team; quite a few of us were pre-Stamina. Seeing as we were
- Lowish-level Tankers (poor damage-per-endurance)
- Pre-Stamina
- Mostly single-target (thus using a lot more attacks)
- and fighting Freaks (who had some endurance-draining electrical attacks and also self-rezzed, requiring additional beatdowns)
I thought we did okay. I actually had to occasionally stand around and get beaten on because I lacked the end to attack, and sometimes I just used my best-slotted attacks instead of a full chain of badly-slotted attacks.
One of the few times I've really appreciated the refilling of the endurance bar one gets from leveling; that happened at several key moments last night.
I was pleased also to note that at level 12-15 or so, just with DOs, my Shield Tanker, the Sewer Knight, was able to muster 34% defense at times (standing with my peers to leverage Phalanx Fighting, and using the 2.5% defense veteran pet, which normally is too fragile, but it survived a lot better with 5-6 Tankers holding the enemy's attention). 29-34% isn't bad for a DO build.
The Sewer Knight also got to play host to the team in his own desmene for some of the missions.

The guy who always managed to run in just as the rest of the team stopped to refill endurance. (Probally was the only one other then the host who was his enough for stamina, heh)
Yeah, we did good for the mix we had. In reviewing the mission settings I think I should have dropped the Diff from +1 to 0. But we had bashed our way through the previous mission so quickly I was reluctant to lower it. That last Freak mission we ran was at 7 +1 and ramped up. There were mobs that were purple and red to me, so I know you all were seeing the color of XP (purple)! I think some AoEs would have changed the speed of the team quite a bit, but as is we did great and once again proved how tough Tanks are. And I must say I was impressed with the level of skill and Tanking Knowledge on the team. It was indeed an honor to have run with you all. I look forward to our next TT on Guardian.
