I've always thought that we should get some kinda button to bring up the salvage needed for a recipe so we can bid on it. Admittedly, I have no issues whatsoever with typing each one into the search field with 'salvage' selected right now, but the shortcut would be a nice touch. 
Oh, and on the other part; this would be best fit into Suggestions and Ideas. It's in the "For Fun!" section under the "City Life" forum. It's often missed, but the fact you asked without blindly posting means you're let off.

What I think should be done is we need a box much like the boxes for selling. Only with this box if you put the Recipe you want to make into it all the Salvage needed to make that recipe will show up. Then its just a matter of bidding on it. |
And your suspicions are correct that this is not the correct place to post this topic. The Suggestions and Ideas forum is under the 'For Fun' section.

To expand your idea, they could probably implement this by adding links next to the Salvage in the Decription tab for Recipes to "add to my wish list", then the WW table on the left side would have a "Wish List" category you'd click on and have everything you selected appear ont he right side.
There could even be wish list links next to any [item name] in descriptions, including the rest of the IO set recipes that display at the bottom of each one. This would make completing a set even easier as well.
Either way, I'm fine typing the names for now, and maybe we'll see this in the suggestion forum soon
